BSS provides services to both parents and production companies alike. Our unique perspective, derived from training young performers in the arts and being parents of two well-established child actors, allows us to be a valuable asset to any production looking for an acting coach or a family requiring our on set chaperones.
On Set Coaching
Are you a production company looking to hire an acting coach? BSS can handle short or long term contracts that require working with one or more young actors on set.
Wayne Davis has over 20 years of experience working with young actors in theatre, TV and film. His recent work includes being the on-set acting coach for the Emmy-nominated shows Odd Squad Mobile Unit (PBS/TVO), Ghostwriter (Apple TV) and Son of a Critch (CBC). He has also coached working actors across the continent remotely, via Zoom.

on Set Chaperones
We know being on-set with your child can be an overwhelming experience and is often being juggled along with your work, your other children, and, quite simply, the demands of daily life. BSS provides several on-set services to allow you to take a step back and just breather.
We can accompany young actors on set, so you don’t have to miss a day of work and can be there for the rest of your family. We have full knowledge of ACTRA and SAG rules as they pertain to performers under the age of 18.
We can also accompany actors to wardrobe fittings and voice-over sessions.
Half day and full day rates available.
